What is Chess with Rookie?
A free game analyzer built on the real Stockfish engine, the same one Chess.com and Lichess run under the hood. Hand over a Chess.com or Lichess username, or paste a PGN directly, and Rookie plays through every move, grades it, and explains what happened in plain English. Not just an eval number going up or down.
Why it's more than a bare Stockfish eval
A raw engine bar tells you a move lost 80 centipawns. It doesn't tell you that you hung your queen to a fork, or that you fall for the same back-rank pattern every few games. Rookie names the actual tactic behind each mistake, forks, pins, skewers, hung pieces, back-rank mates, and saves the real ones to your Deck: a spaced-repetition queue built from your own games, not a generic puzzle set someone else lost.
